Refund & Return Policy

 

1. Overview

We want you to be happy with your purchase. Please inspect your order on delivery and contact us promptly if there is a problem. This policy explains when returns, refunds, and store credit apply.

2. Contact for Returns

Before returning any item, please email us at Violetearlifestyle@gmail.com with your order number, photos (if applicable), and a brief description of the issue. We will reply with return instructions.

3. Damages and Incorrect Items

  • Inspect your order upon receipt. If an item is damaged, defective, or you received the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate and make it right.
  • For damaged/defective items, you must record and share an opening/unboxing video that clearly shows the condition of the package and product at the time of delivery.
  • If the opening video confirms the damage or defect, we will issue store credit for the value of the item. Please note: we do not provide cash refunds for items returned under this rule; store credit will be issued instead.

4. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers, plants)
  • Custom or personalized items (special orders)
  • Personal care items (e.g., beauty/personal hygiene products)
  • Sale items and gift cards

If you have questions about a specific product, contact us before placing your order.

5. Refunds and Store Credit

  • Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you by email whether your refund or store credit is approved.
  • If approved, refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please allow additional time for your bank or card issuer to post the refund.
  • For approved damaged/defective returns that qualify under Section 3, we will issue store credit instead of a monetary refund. Store credit will be valid for use on future purchases; details of the credit (amount, expiry if any) will be provided in the approval email.
  • If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your return and you have not received your refund or store credit, please contact us at Violetearlifestyle@gmail.com.

6. Shipping & Returns Process

  • If a return is authorized, we will provide instructions on how and where to send your package.
  • Unless otherwise stated (for example in cases of confirmed damage or wrong item), customers are responsible for the return shipping costs.
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
